Virginia Nill Jinks received her master of arts in education at EKU in 1965. She proceeded as professor of dance for 28 years, teaching classes on both the bachelor's and master's levels, before retiring in 1989. Virginia was well known throughout Kentucky for her passion and promotion of dance.

Born September 12, 1954, in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Leonard and Kathryn (Sanders) Peavler. She was the director of digital media (retired) for Eastern Kentucky University.

Mary was born on February 25, 1950 in the Red House area of Madison County and was the daughter of Zelda Hoskins. She had worked for EKU as a cook, and was of the Baptist faith.

Donna Ruth Williams, 76, of Burlington New Jersey, passed away on November 20, 2022, from a prolonged illness. Williams taught broadcasting in EKU’s Department of Mass Communications as a full-time faculty member for many years. She was promoted and tenured in 1984.
