Mr. Ira Dwight "Ivan" Ruble

Mr. Ira Dwight “Ivan” Ruble, 63, of Waco, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020.

Ivan was born in Richmond, Ky., on July 26, 1957, to Bobby “Harold” and Mamie Bicknell Ruble. He was a retired employee of EKU and enjoyed mowing grass and spending time with his grandchildren. He also liked to go to local raceways and watch his son and grandson race. Ivan was a member of the Madison County Coon Club.

He is survived by his son, Chris Ruble (Ashley); his mother, Mamie Ruble; his grandchildren, C. J. Ruble, Cory Ruble, Jace Ruble, Payton Dargavell and Dwayne Whittaker; as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Ruble.

Visitation is from 2-5 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 22, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, 328 West Main Street. COVID-19 mandates of face coverings and social distancing will be observed.
