Lori Ruth Sallee Pitcher

Lori Ruth Sallee Pitcher, 64, of Richmond, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020 at Baptist Health-Richmond.

She was born in Richmond on Saturday, December 3, 1955. She was a graduate of Madison Central High School, Class of 1973.

She retired from Eastern Kentucky University in 2012. She was a longtime budget specialist in the EKU Farms Administration and will be greatly missed by her former colleagues.

Lori served as a Cub Scout leader and dearly loved her years of raising her sons. She enjoyed crocheting, painting and various arts and crafts and was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Sallee; her mother-in-law, Barbara Marcum. Survivors include her husband, T. J. Pitcher; two sons, Jason Pitcher, of Louisville and Phillip Pitcher, of Richmond; her mother, Monzell Land Sallee; two sisters, Vicki Grant, of Richmond and Karen Wheeler (Larry), of Lexington; a sister-in-law, Linda Mize (Ricky); nieces and nephews, Pam Grant, Blaine Wheeler, Misty Randall and Chris Mize.
