Larry J. Ousley

May 18, 1949 - March 21, 2020

Larry J. Ousley, 70, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Hospice Care Plus Compassionate Care Center. He was born May 18, 1949, to the late Alonzo and Goldie Frasure Ousley. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and Bethel Baptist Church of Frenchburg, Ky. Mr. Ousley was a police officer and retired Police Academy instructor at Eastern Kentucky University. He was a Navy and Army Vietnam veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Ousley of Richmond; two sons, Johnathan Brannon of Louisville, and Terry Hale (Alisha) of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Daphne Cane (Michael) of McKee, and Stephanie Carson (Russell) of Richmond, nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A private family graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 26, 2020.
