Mary Margaret McGlasson

Mary Margaret McGlasson, 93, wife of Alvin McGlasson, died on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Kenwood Health & Rehab Center in Richmond, Kentucky.

Born on December 10, 1927 in Hebron, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Jerry Logan and Hazel Grow Fowler.    She was a retired Professor at Eastern Kentucky University and loved being with family and friends and traveling around the world.  She never met a stranger and loved hearing from former students and was an original member of the Richmond Choral Society.

In addition to her husband Alvin McGlasson survivors include three daughters, Catherine Jo McGlasson of Kingsport, Tennessee, Teresa Lynn McGlasson of Richmond, Kentucky and Ruth McGlasson Casey (Kerry) of Frankfort, Kentucky; two grandchildren,  Jonathan Burbank and Brian Casey (Tricia).

A memorial services will be held at a later date.

The Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home in Richmond, Kentucky is handling all arrangements.
