Martha Ann Hager Wagers

Martha Ann Hager Wagers, 78, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Baptist Health Richmond.

She was born in Madison County on March 3, 1944, the daughter of the late Creed and Olive Valeria Foster Hager. Martha was a former cook for Eastern Kentucky University and was a member of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her three sons: Keith Allen Wagers (Vickie), Ricky Dale Wagers and Tim Scott Wagers (Joann); three brothers: Russell Gene Hager, Raymond Carter Hager,\ and Robert Mason Hager; three grandsons: Keith James Lamb, Derrick Alan Cox and Tyler Reynolds; one great-grandson, Aiden Cox; as well as a host of other extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Herman Wagers; one son, Herman Wagers, Jr., and three brothers: Edward Hager, Otis Hager and Gary Dean Hager.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond with Bro. Owen Moody officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Derrick Cox, Tyler Reynolds, Tony Harris, Garrett Hager, Jeffrey Lamb and Daniel Lamb.
