Lillie Mary Marcum Hutchins

Lillie Mary Marcum Hutchins, age 79, passed away Tuesday September 24, 2024, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born September 27, 1944, in Madison County, KY to the late Ealdon and Nettie Alexander Marcum. Mary was a Custodial Supervisor at Eastern Kentucky University. She loved cooking, playing bingo, watching game shows on tv, playing scrabble, but most of all spending time with her family. Mary was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Leon Hutchins, three brothers, J.W. Marcum, Ealdon “Cobb” Marcum, Jr., Jeffery Hutchins, special nephew, Donnie Marcum, and two great grandchildren, Autumn Sky, and Aliyah Rayne.

Mary is survived by her children, Edna Witt of Berea, KY, Kathy Gevedon and her husband Cordell of Berea, KY, Randy Hutchins and his wife Eyvette of Berea, KY, one sister, Brenda Hutchins Roberts of Cecilia, KY, six grandchildren, Tonya Felty and her husband Kris, Jason Witt, Finley Poe and her husband Matthew, Casey Jurgensen and her husband Phillip, Brandy Phelps and her husband Justin, James Wood and his wife Elenor, and ten great grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Jamie, Hailey, Lily, Kennedy, Zoe, Stella, Zach, and Luke.
