Libby A. Black

Elizabeth “Libby” Ann Black, 74, of Richmond, KY, formerly of Maryville, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Born in Knoxville, TN on May 3, 1949, Libby was the daughter of Everett D. and Betty Jo Timmons, both of whom preceded her in death. Libby was of the Christian faith having been a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Richmond, KY. She was a devoted wife, mother, mother in-law, sister, and above all else a grandmother. Everyone that knew Libby, knew that she was a force to be reckoned with when it came to her children, or grandchildren.

Libby is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dr. Stephen Black; son Anthony Everett Black and wife April; Grandsons Connor Black, Carson Black, Maxwell Black, Everett Black, and Maddox Marks, all of Richmond, KY. She is also survived by her sister and brother in-law Vickie and Michael Mynatt and niece Stephanie Ann Nichols, all of Mansfield, GA.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 1:00pm at Magnolia Cemetery, Maryville, TN.
