Dr. Esther Kauto Leung, 91, widow of Dr. Samuel S. Leung passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. She was born August 5, 1933 to the late Hon – Yue Wong and Dorothy C. Wong in Canton, China. She was retired from Eastern Kentucky University where she was a professor of Special Education. She was a member of Lexington Chinese Christian Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Stephen Leung (Vicki) and Jonathan Leung (Rica); her daughter, Suzanne Leung ; sisters, Irene Chang, Violet Wong, Freda Cheung and Kathleen Leung; grandchildren, Benjamin Leung, Matthias Leung, Isaiah Leung, Timothy Leung , Loukas Leung and Adalyn Leung.
She is preceded in passing by both her husband and parents.
