Benny Thomas "Tom" Renfro

Benny Thomas “Tom” Renfro, age 63, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Baptist Health – Richmond.

Tom, the son of the late Norman Renfro and Joann Wells Renfro Thompson, was born in Madison County on February 20, 1958. He enjoyed fishing and going to Keeneland. His greatest joy was watching his grandsons play sports.

Survivors include his wife: Peggy Coyle Renfro; their son: Eric (& Shelley) Renfro of Waco; three brothers: Scott (& Linda) Renfro, Steve Renfro and David (& Darlene) Renfro; his sister: Judy Ann Guillen; two grandsons: Brody and Bentley; his niece Tasha Spurlock; several other nieces and nephews; his friends Rodney Deatherage and Lester Adams and many other close friends.

Tom was also preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Renfro and Johnny Renfro.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney Deatherage, Lester Adams, Doug Anderson, Van Coyle, Jason Henry and Doug Hale.
