Allan Richardson

Allan Scott Richardson, aged 71, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 26, 2023. He dedicated his professional life to Eastern Kentucky University, where he managed the bowling alley until his retirement. Born in Irvine, Kentucky, Allan was the son of the late Wayne and Eda Webb Richardson.

Allan is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Hays Richardson, as well as his two sons, Daniel Richardson, and Jeffrey Richardson.

Allan served his country in the US Air Force and was proud to be a veteran. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Hays Cemetery in Jackson County. Visitation will take place on Monday evening at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea, starting from 5pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
